| Entering your story in the firstwriter.com
short story contest couldn't be easier! No postage, SAEs, or
manuscripts – just cut and paste your story into the box below, then hit
submit – it's as simple as that! You will then be taken to our secure
server where your credit card will be charged $9.75 / £6.50
and your entries will be logged. Remember – you can come back and
make as many entries as you like. Refunds will be given at the discretion of the company
management.

competition entry (maximum 3,000 words) into the following box. The box will scroll to fit as much

- To denote italics type <i>
at the start of the italics and </i> at their end.
- To denote bold type <b>
at the start of the bold section and </b> at the end.
- If you choose to use these tags
make sure you do so correctly, or they will spoil the
presentation of your work (for instance, by putting the whole text
